Our History
Kompetently was born after seven years of creating assessment models for organizations including Thomson Reuters, Refinitv, Vodafone, BT, and Motorola.
Jason Watson—an early pioneer at Thomson Reuters—and Mark Savinson developed Kompetently together with the ambition to build the world’s first bias-free competency model that was straightforward, easy to operationalize, and could deliver a bespoke learning pathway to every individual in an organization. This ambition has been realized in Kompetently today, and their passion for pragmatism and simplicity shines through.
